About this Exploration: Coldwater Lake is one of the few lakes in Kansas that allows swimming, as well as boating, fishing and camping. Coldwater Lake is lush with trees and wild flowers, as well as abundant wildlife. If you want to hook-up your RV, make reservations early. Grab the sunscreen and marshmallows and plan to relax and enjoy the sunsets on the water. Tent spots and full hook-up for the big RV's are hard to get if you wait too long. Call 620.582.2949. Sitting on the edge of the lake on a warm summer
evening and just watching the sunset on the water is the most relaxing place
you can imagine. Breath-taking photographs are waiting to be taken. This city-owned, man-made, spring-fed lake is a 250-acre lake in a 930-acre park within the city limits of Coldwater. It is abundant with native Kansas birds and wildflowers. Check out the Comanche Estates to live on the lake. 620-582-2940 |
