Stacy offers, sandwiches made with the bread of the day and/or, a salad or soup of the day. Top it off with a soda, malt or sunday from the old fashioned soda fountain.
Stacy moved to Humboldt with her three children from Atlanta, GA. where she had managed a bakery. Stacy's grandmother had grown up in rural Humboldt and her mother and sister had made the move from Atlanta a few months earlier. When seeking a business venture that would allow her to support her kids and to attend college to attain her business degree she turned her kitchen into a home-based bakery. Her unique cakes became well known all over the area. Orders for cakes, cookies, pies and breads started flowing in and she needed more space.
Kids pine for one of her specialty designed cakes. Just let Stacy know what they would like and she can do it. Stacy loves to be creative. Her talent lies in artistry as well as product quality. She has cakes shaped any where from a comic character to a John Deere tractor. She does everything free handed so is not limited to molds. Need an elegant multi-tiered wedding cake? Stacy can do it.
Now that Stacy has moved into the downtown building she and her husband Mark have opened up the old fashioned soda fountain, previously known as Garvies Drug Store. You can enjoy a meal, something from the bakery or soda fountain and enjoy the surroundings of yesteryear while enjoying the use of your computer with Wi-Fi.
