GET CONCORDIA!Located just north of Hwy 24 along US 81, in the heart of North Central Kansas, Concordia is a great place to pull off and stretch your legs a bit!
There is plenty to see and do as Concordia is home to the National Orphan Train Museum, the Sisters of St. Joseph Convent, WWII POW Camp Concordia, Brown Grand Theatre, and now the longest sculpted brick mural in the U.S., The Whole Wall Mural. Downtown you'll find terrific antique stores, a coffee shop, gifts, a large quilt shop, several clothing stores, and a health food store. If you're feeling a bit famished you'll have trouble deciding between, authentic Mexican, Italian, American or BBQ cuisine. If you need a little help deciding what to do or navigating your way around, call or stop by the Cloud County Museum Annex to enlist the help of Cloud County Tourism. Susie and Tammy will be happy to see you and show you around town! |
