Sisters of St. Joseph Nazareth ConventAddress:
13th and Washington Street
About this Exploration: In 1884 the Sisters of St. Joseph arrived from France to minister in Concordia and have continued to minister to our community for over 100 years. Construction on this five-story red-brick building began in 1902. The "Motherhouse" was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Breathtaking stained glass windows, beautiful woodwork, and priceless works of art are just some of the treasures to see at the convent. For a donation you can enjoy a tour Monday-Friday from 2-4 p.m. |
