Marysville, the county seat of Marshall County, is a beautiful town near the Big Blue River in northeast Kansas. It began as a river crossing for thousands of emigrants, Pony Express riders and military troops, and developed into a town in 1854.
Today you can still experience the serene tree-lined streets, most of which are laid with the original brick. Enjoy unique shops, old town charm, historical beauty and friendly service throughout our community.
Many of the original buildings in Marysville still stand today along Broadway or nearby. Self-guided walking tours will take you by many of these wonderful buildings and other attractions. Marysville - a great place to live, a beautiful place to visit!
