The cast iron lions and dogs guarding the gates of this beautiful Victorian home were noted by Laura Ingalls Wilder in "On the Way Home", a diary of her family's journey in 1894.
Explore the grounds that include a summer kitchen, ice house, carriage house and a rare collection of 13 restored white bronze statues. The beautiful home includes its original furnishings, clothing, portraits, toys and books used by the Koester family.
