The bronze horse and rider was sculpted by Dr. Richard Bergen, Salina, and dedicated in 1985 by Governor John Carlin, and sits in the new Pony Express Plaza. Enjoy your lunch under an umbrella topped table among the natural prairie grasses and flowers in the park.
Don't forget to check out the Lifetile Murals in the park just west of the statue. Walk in front of them and watch them come to life!
